Ifs and buts. There is an old saying that "if ifs and buts were pots and pans there'd be no need for tinkers." How many times do any of us say or wish - "if only or it's someone else's responsibility!" The real message here is that you do not want to live in the land of" its and buts". As you move forward it is important to take responsibility for what you do and ensure that you do the best you can to make your decisions work well for both you, your work, and your community. Staying positive in difficult times can be hard but moving into the negative destroys confidence, creates stress, and reduces your effectiveness. So this week as we get fully engaged in the new year resolve to be positive, to take actions that make changes, and use the "new year ' to create better opportunities. Stay away from the "land of ifs and buts!".
