Stand Up. I know that many people wonder how to answer the question – “How do you stand up above the crowd?” As we acquire our education and move into adulthood we often believe that we have to be something really special to be successful. As a result far too many people sit back and do not try and make the impact that they can be capable of making. I want to suggest that the first thing you have to do to answer the question is something I know that all of you can do – and that is, just stand up! That gives you an entirely new perspective and is the initial part of a new approach that you will take as you move forward. If you identify what you want, identify the steps you need to take to get there, and then act on these ideas, you will not only make progress but you will be recognized as someone who is “standing up!” So get out of that chair and do what you’re able to do.
