Chances. When you ask people if they like to take chances you often receive a quizzical look or one of surprise. It appears that many people fear taking chances as they look at the potential negative reactions to what it is they might do. Real progress in only made when you take chances – doing nothing is never really a good option. Everything we do in life has an element of chance. Crossing a busy street has an element of chance. Driving a cycle or even a car on our roads has an element of chance. In many instances we do something almost without thought as we have assessed the risk in an instant. So it is with the need for us to grow our businesses and our economy by moving outside of our comfort zone and striving towards bigger goals. If all of us would take a chance and do one new thing to make our business better we might be surprised at how that helps the economy grow and move us back in the direction of prosperity.
