Clouds. I recall back in 1970’s that the buzzword in the tech world was distributed processing. The goal was to decentralize the processing done in large date centres out to the point of contact with the customer. Banks and corporations, in particular wanted to have better information available for their staffs to better serve their customers. Keep in mind that we still had rotary phones, no internet and none of the many tools we all take for granted today. Fast forward to today and what we see is the evolution of cloud computing where all data is stored in central locations and you access that data from anywhere in the world from a PC, a smart phone, or a tablet. If that had been suggested to you forty years ago you would not have believed it. Our ability to stay connected and to communicate almost instantly is really an amazing capability that has been developed. I look at my three year old granddaughter and she just assumes that you swipe your finger across a screen, access things that are fun, and just do it. Imagine what she will see as her life unfolds and she learns more about her world and even helps to develop it. The message here is our innate creativity provides these new tools and when used effectively contributes to significant and positive change. What can you do with the cloud?
" Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine."
