Life moves. As we move through each of the transitions in our lives we are
constantly reminded as to just how quickly time passes. Do you recall when you
were in school how time was measured by the school breaks and vacations?
Looking at a school year and a university year seemed to stretch out before
you forever. Looking ahead to graduation from whatever school level always
seemed so far away. As we move into full adulthood, go to work, marry, have
children, and then grandchildren, we realize that the old familiar benchmarks
are gone. It is important to enjoy this journey and to learn from each and
every experience. The benchmarks are now our experiences with family, friends,
