Copenhagen. Most of us have heard of the fairy tales of Hans Christian
Andersen. Karen and I walked on H.C.Andersen Boulevard, saw where he lived, visited Tivoli Gardens and explored the canals by boat. And yes , after having heard about the Little Mermaid since I was about ten years old, we saw that too! And yes, she is little! We were fortunate enough to be there in the first heat wave in five years in the 80's. So it was very pleasant to explore the city. I write this as we enter the harbour via the archipelago in Stockholm a cool 55 degrees and cloudy. Looks very much like Nova Scotia. Travel does open your mind to new things and new people.
