Milagro. I heard a great story when I was in Panama. This individual witnessed a dog being hit by a fast moving car. He was convinced that the dog was mortally hurt and went back to the scene and found the dog alive. He took it to his vet (he has many animals himself) and to their surprise the dog was injured but did recover. He paid to have the dog treated and took the dog home to be with his other dogs and cats. Milagro is Spanish for "miracle". So that is what he named the dog. A small act that changed not only the dog's life but also that of his family. What little miracles can all of us create to make a difference?
