Anxiety. More often than we might like circumstances and events in our business and our lives creates anxiety. One tends to worry more about what is happening and what the consequences might be to them and those around them. This can be fuelled by events outside of us such as the current conflict in the Middle East and the arrests of potential terrorists threatening to bring down aircraft. Anxiety destroys initiative and creativity. It can be paralyzing and watching the TV talking heads will only make it worse. The best response is to care about the innocent victims of all of this but focus on making what you do work even better. Having a strong family society and great businesses is the best defense for the majority of us. Make your contribution by making your community stronger.
